BSOD, Blue Screen "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

Reason for the error:

If you are seeing this error in  a blue screen, an windows does not boot. It is most certainly a hardware device or it's driver that is causing the problem!

How to solve IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Blue Screen error:

Step 1: Find out which device / driver is causing the problem

In the above screenshot, the technical information contains the file name : ndis.sys
This means that it is being caused by your network device (LAN card / ethernet card, Wi-Fi etc.)

Step 2:
Now that you know it is network problem, boot to safe mode (Press F8 on startup and choose "Safe Mode")

Go to device manager (My Computer ->right click -> properties -> Device Manager)

select the Network Adapters and disable all that are there.

Step 3:
Restart PC. Problem should be solved. Un-Install all the network device drivers and Re-Install correct ones and you shoulld be able to boot normally.

Samsung SCX 3201g, MLT-D1043S Toner Cartridge refilling instructions

Do you want to learn how to refill Samsung SCX3201g MLT-D1043S Toner cartridge? Then this is the right place for you.

It is extremely easy to refill the MLT-D1043S cartridge.

How To:

1. See the image below and locate the two screws that hold the side cover in place.
2. Gently pull out the cover while rocking from side to side.

3. After removing the cover, you will see the inside.
4. You will notice a round Plastic cap / Plug.covering the Re-Filling hole.
5. Locate the cap by referring the image below. Click to enlarge

6. Pull out the cap with Pliers.
7. Shake the Toner bottle / Pouch and pour in the Toner powder till almost full while tapping the cartridge body.
8. Replace the Cap tightly.
9. Blow air to clean the residual toner / spillage.
10. Re-Insert the side cover and replace the screws.

That's it! You have successfully re-filled the Samsung SCX3201g Laser Printer MLT-D1043S Toner cartridge.

Increase Battery Life - A Guide (iphone, mobile Phone, Cell Phone)

I'm sure everybody comes to a point in life where they get frustrated with the decreasing Battery Life of their Phone. At this point, some will replace their Battery and others will just buy a new Phone. Buying a new Phone is not everyone's piece of cake especially if you own an iPhone !

Almost all of today's Mobile Devices like Cell Phones / Mobile Phones (Including the iPhone), Tablets (iPad, Nexus etc.) rely on either Lithium ion or Lithium Polymer Batteries. The good part is that these kind of Batteries are light and have a lot of "Juice" in them. The downside, however is that they tend to degrade pretty quickly based on how you use them.

Here are a few guidelines to increase the life of your Mobile Phone Battery:

1) Begin from day one! I know you are excited to use your new iPhone but, please keep it off and charge it for duration specified in the Manual. This goes a long way in increasing the Battery life.

2) NEVER plug in your charger on the fly (i.e when the Phone is ON) unless ABSOLUTELY Necessary.

3) Always try to maintain a schedule so that you drain the battery Completely or Almost Completely before charging it. Then again, ensure that the Phone is OFF when charging and ensure complete charge before turning it ON.

Samsung SCX 3201g Toner Cartridge reset, refill

The Samsung SCX-3021g is a great All in one Printer with a high Capacity Toner Cartridge which can hold 140 Grams of Toner! Imagine that, it can give you a yield of up to 2000 Pages per Cartridge.

The Problem is, The Cartridge has a chip and after a set number of pages have been printed, it says "Out of Toner" or "End of Toner Life".

Now, to be able to re-use that Cartridge after a refill, the first time you get the error message, take out the cartridge it is a MLT-D1043s.

You can see the Three / four copper contacts for the chip (see Image above & below).

after Re-Filling the cartridge, just cover the contacts with transparent sticky tape.

Cover the Contacts with Sticky Tape / Masking Tape

Re-Install the Cartridge and you are ready to go!

DVD Writer Repair Revival

DON'T THROW AWAY A DEAD DVD WRITER !!!

Yes, DVD Writer Repair / Revival is possible !
If the Dvd Writer is being detected and appears in the Hardware list, it can most often be revived !

Here's how to do it :

Items needed :
1) Philips Screw Driver.
2) Toilet Paper.
3) Silicone Grease (Petroleum Jelly i.e Vaselene will also do).

Procedure :
1) Disconnect the cables and un mount the device from the Computer Cabinet.
2) Take off all the four screws at the bottom of the Dvd writer and take off the bottom cover.
3) Manually eject the Tray by inserting a long pin into the eject hole (on the front panel, just below the tray).
4) Place the device right side up and Gently take off the top cover.
5) Locate the Lens ; it is a small glass circle not more than 2-3 Millimeters in diameter and is usually at the center of the mechanism encased in a black/cream housing.
6) Gently Brush the lens with the Toilet Paper. DO NOT RUB BY PRESSING YOUR FINGER ! Brush it with only the Paper lightly.
7) On one side of the device, you will find the Stepper Guide which looks somewhat like a corkscrew. Apply a thin coat of the silicone grease / vaselene on it, do the same on the smooth shiny rod on the other side of the device.
8) Replace the top cover.
9) Replace the bottom cover and fit all four screws.
10) Gently push in the Tray.

You are Done !!! The device should work fine now. If it doesn't, then it's time to scrap it !
